I’ve been parked in front of my computer trying to write for the past 70 minutes, and the best thing I could come up with is a video created by someone else.

I try to write nice stories.

I really do
I’ve got a nice one that I am trying to work on
It’s just the bad stories come to me so goddamned easily

Qutting Smoking Brings on the Vampires

I really can’t believe it but I did it

I wrote 3076 words 4 hours and 15 minutes and it really is a not bad story that I wrote.

Well, I haven’t gone back over it to see for sure, but I’ve got a good feeling about it.

I’m going to bug some friends for sure to read it. For now, though, I’m going to bed, feeling pretty damned good.

And, for those who might be checking, there are vampires and werewolves in this one

I’m working on something else right now, but here is a tool I use

A story I wrote that I really, really like that I never finished. It’s one of three or four that I think of on a regular basis. I guess all of my stories, in one form or another, come from these.

And once these are done I will never write again. Until, of course, I find three or four more that I don’t finish.

The important image for me was the candle in the vaulted cave. Couldn’t tell you why. I also like the buzzing bees in the introduction.
I think I got the idea from Aristotle or something.

<edit> I got the story name wrong. That was one was a WIP that I’ll never finish. Meredith The Mistress is the story I was thinking about – or the one that I do think about

How The Number 153 Changed My Life

It is late.
I am tired.
This is an old, old story idea that I wrote and cleaned up.
This is what I do when I have no story to write or am having trouble writing one.
I print out an old one, re-type it with the changes I want to make.
This is about 2980 words, of which about 1500 of them are completely original.
The idea, though, is the same as is was. And God as my witness, I thought it was a good idea at the time.
